did a total reinstall of the forum using 2.0.18
the only package I installed was response mod
I do not use our forum often,
but my global moderator *almost full admin rights
just noticed he can no longer UNAPPOVE a post
I looked around my ADMIN section and found a bunch of
Unapproved mods
even though I made a new install - I copied and imported the old SQL)
here is what  found:

hoping the image might help trigger a reply here
anyway - the only Mod I found in the forum here is called POST APPROVAL
https://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1128
but it so old   -  is it still the only one that does this?
leary of trying things as the site is working so well again

Not really sure I follow you... If there is an approve button by default it means that the post is unapproved and in order to unapprove it, you would have to approve it first. (Tongue-twister but yeah)

It's so powerful that on this post and even in the two PMs you sent me,you still answered my question very quickly and you're apologizing for the delay. You're the #1 support I've probably ever encountered man, so much respect for that. Thank you, and get better soon.

I'll keep this in my siggy for a while just to remind me that someone appreciated what I did while others didn't.

by total reinstall you mean you used the large update files? Overwriting all of your files?
If so then you need to reinstall any mods that you previously had installed

that only saves the database entries (mod settings and configurations), not the edits to the actual files for the mods to work.
You will need to reinstall any and all mods that you were using or wish to continue using because doing a large upgrade, you uploaded files that overwrote your existing files, erasing any and all modifications and customizations to your forum
however when reinstalling be aware that any custom themes that you use (not the default curve theme) may/will still have the mod edits in them so you may want to check those files before reinstalling any mods on themes other than the default because you may end up with the mod installed twice on custom themes.

The unapprove -button is not built in to SMF, so you would need a mod installed to have that.
The mod you mentioned, Post Unapproval should probably still work just fine.
The changes needed for this functionality are quite small.

I sent the photo just as a 'hint' of what I was discussing
yes - I knew - we could no longer unapproved/approve without the mod
did not know if the mod was still needed  - or was part of the new version
