Started the process of upgrading my forum. currently on 2.0.19 and upgrading to 2.1.3

Trying the process first on a backup test server.
1. deleted the Themes and Sources folders
2. downloaded the large 2.1.3 upgrade zip file
3. unzipped and copied all files into test server root
4. started the upgrade.php file
5. System reports all files look good and ready to convert.
6. Provided my admin login credentials and the process started.
7. The screen has been updating every couple of minutes. "Executing Upgrade script 1 of 2" took about 45 minutes to complete.
8. Now it has started "Executing Upgrade script 2 of 2"

The step above has been running around 25 minutes, and nothing has changed. Has been showing the following screen all this time with no progress shown. Is this expected? For now I will continue to wait.

Shouldn't be hanging that long.  You can remove the backup tables and disable that option, try running upgrade from beginning.  Just make sure you have a good 2.0.19 database dump.
When in Emor, do as the Snamors.

I am getting the following. it is recognizing that some task is already running from when I first started the upgrade yesterday. Is there some task I need to stop, and then restart the update.php from the beginning?

Just to follow-up I may have solved my own issue.

I wiped and reloaded my test server with a copy of my 2.0.19 files and a copy of my database. I do 1 thing different this time. Before, I launched the upgrade.php file. And this time I noticed the index.php file is different (didn't notice that before) and so I launched the index.php file. The upgrade worked fine and completed in less than 10 minutes.

I will mark this solved.
