Hi,
I have a stupid question.
When a post of thread is removed, is it permanently deleted or moved to a recycle bin please?
If not already in place, a recycle bin would be nice.
Thanks.

Recycle bin is an option. You simply need to create a dedicated board to act as the bin if you want one, and then activate it in the settings.

Thank you.
Creating a dedicated board is easy.
However, I am struggling to find the location of the 'Bin' option. I am running SMF 2.1.4. I have just had another look and no luck. Could you tell me where to find it please?

Admin -> Forum -> Boards and Categories -> Settings -> Enable recycling of deleted topics
And below that, you select the Board for recycled topics.
