Make theme selectable for membergroups?

Is there a way to make themes accessible for certain member groups when they're not checked as selectable for regular members? Currently, only admins can access/select all themes.
I would like to make a theme available to moderators but not to regular members.

There is a mod for 2.0 that I think does that, but it hasn't been updated for 2.1
