Number Lists

I'm not sure if this can be done, but is there a way I can specify what the starting number on a Number List is?  I've got a multipart number list, but I need it broken down by major categories, so like I'd have

Some Heading
1.  something
2.  something
3.  something
4.  something

Some Other Heading
5.  something
6.  something
7.  something

Another Heading
8.  something
9.  something
10. something

[Sesquipedalian]

Not at this time, no.
