Installation error

Hello everyone,

i am really new to simplemachines and get error 500 after installation step 3.
I use Nginx webserver and want to install in the subdirectory forum/. After step 3, the setup redirects to servers root (not forum/). I think it is a really easy step i miss, but i searched a lot and find no solution.

I hope, you can help me?

If it's redirecting, then you gave it the wrong directory in the previous set up screens

Step 1. Welcome
Step 2. Writable Check (seems to be ok, because it jumps directly to step 3)
Step 3. Database Settings
Step 4. ---> jumps to webside root and there is no install.php

There was no Step to define the path of the SMF installation...

I have different subdirectories with php-tools inside. There are no problems. And the first steps working fine. It is just step 4...

I fixed the error. I installed a new php version (old 8.0, new 8.2) and it works fine now.
