WYSIWYG Editor Broke

All of a sudden... between yesterday and today... with NOTHING have been done to my forum in months and months... the WYSIWYG editor stopped working.

It comes up as a thin line.  I can expand the field but nothing can be typed in it.  I change to the BBC editor and it works fine... back to the WYSIWYG and broke again.

What happened?

FrizzleFried

Seems to be a CHROME thing... working fine in Firefox?!?

Steve

I'm not surprised. If you have a third browser like Edge or Brave you can see definitively whether or not it's just a chrome issue.

Top left: Ungoogled Chromium Version 122.0.6261.94
Top Right: Firefox 123.0.1 (64-bit)
Bottom Left: Google Chrome Version 122.0.6261.112 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Bottom right: Microsoft Edge Version 122.0.2365.80 (Official build) (64-bit)

I see no issues here, forced a refresh, made sure to check all browsers are up to date.
Suggest emptying temporary files, updating the browser if updates are available, and trying again.

Also try disabling any browser extensions to rule those out. Adblockers in particular.

Sorry @Steve ... I changed back to BBC editor and never looked back.  I'll try again... but since I've gotten ZERO complaints from users I suspect it was something going on with my Chrome...

*CHECKING RIGHT NOW*

*IM BACK*

Looks like CHROME fixed whatever issue it was having... back to WYSIWYG mode as default for me.
