Mobile Navigation Behavior

Hello All,

Can't seem to find in the boards a fix for the Mobile Navigation behavior that when you click on the menu and you have a menu item with a sub item underneath (ex. added community tab and have several areas underneath like Battle or Gallery) it just like disappears faster than you can click it.

Yes, happens on default theme and any custom themes.

Has anyone found or know of a fix for that yet?

Maybe it is another mod doing that? Heard of that?

It definitely sounds like a mod or theme issue because it works just fine on mobile devices here and on my 4 sites...

Do you happen to know what file and code controls that? Thinking if I compare the original to something a mod did I might be able to spot the error.

Well, actually only have two theme's default and a premium one. It's been happening since the beginning and on both so not sure that is the issue.

But now that you say which mods - that triggers anxiety cause I actually have 43 of them. And been building/modify stuff for awhile as I am looking to launch this site at the New Year. Some heavy tweaks in there.

I'll share the site address via PM, hoping that's OK.

Any suggestions you can make would be greatly appreciated. Just a annoying little bugger that one is on mobile. Everything else looks and acts beautifully.

Also for kicks and grins, did a fresh install on another ISP. Same result with the Admin button sub button underneath, just weird I am the only one on two different servers seeing it. But then again, just my luck too, LOL.

So, took a quick look at your site and my experience was that the menus are not mobile friendly.

Normally, a single tap on a mobile device is like a hover over with a mouse on a PC.
In your case, a single tap not only expanded the sub menu but immediately triggered the link, which, of course, closed the subsequent as the new page loaded.

I'd follow up with the author ofc that theme

Can confirm what Kindred has said. However this apparently is happening on the default theme as well.

Could you give us a list of currently installed Mods?

Ohhh hold the phones...

Just switch to the default theme and it is all acting normal now... Weird...

So, waited about 20 mins and changed back everything to the premium theme and it is doing that again just on that theme.

I think you two may be correct. I'm going to reach out to the theme creator.

Will update you on what is discovered.

Thought it was super bizarre though it happened on default theme several times in the past, now I'm baffled...

If the menu loading javascript got cached by your browser,  it might have carried over to a theme switch
