I'll have changed the registration agreement, but how can I'll display the changed agreement to the users? Something like:

A user logged on and the first thing he of she will see in the agreement page with the next message
The agreement is changed is changed!
Please read the agreement, if you agree you can enter the forum.
Then the complete agreement.

I'm interested in this too.  We want our users to have to "re-agree" to the new agreement.

anyone?

If oyu are on SMF 1.1 RC1 then you cna use the newsletter function and send out a PM to all members saying that there is a new agreement, as for making them re agree you will just have to ask them to reply Yes or NO

rosey

that's no good... it would be a huge PITA to track which users have/haven't responded - I want something that will, the next time they log in, say "the user agreement has changed", show them the new agreement, and if they don't agree just refuse the log in...

is that possible to write a mod for that? I suppose anything is possible :P  is anyone willing to try it?

Arcath

you could make evey account on the forums inactive, and send out a activation email with the agreement, with YES or NO in it, yes reactivates thier account NO deltes it
