Remove quick reply

I know this has been discussed several times, don't remember the outcome.  Is there any way to remove or collapse quick reply without breaking quotes?

That's odd, I've commented out function template_quickreply(), it's gone, and quote loads directly into post editor.  Maybe there was a different problem.

Makes it a profile/member option.  Works as far as I can see.
