ssi_topBoards and ssi_boardNews help

I want to display the first post from the first five threads in the top board on my forum front page. I want to use SSI.

I tried the way that was done in the Advanced SSI FAQ to display the posts from a certain board:

ssi_boardNews($board=11.0, $limit = 5, $start = null, $length = 250, $output_method = 'echo');

and it worked.

But I do not know how to obtain the ID number of the top board. I know there is another SSI function called ssi_topBoards(), but just do not how to use it.

Searched the forum and did not find the answer. Newbie here...

Any help/comment/suggestion is appreciated.

How can I get top board's ID using SSI or other method?
