RC2 - default theme colors

How do I change the colors on the default theme, I'm using RC2.

On the bord titles ( index.php ) the white titles on the gray background doesn't work for me, it's too hard to see. This white on gray is in other places too. How do I change this?

You need to edit styles.css in your thmes dir

Are you sure that this isn't simply your browser using a cached 1.0.x version of the style.css file?
I thought the new default theme had white on grey menus until I forced a reload of the pages and saw the blue color gradients
