PHPBB2 to SMF, really cant get it working!

Hi guys, first of all sorry for asking this question again that probarly been asked a couple times before! But i read alot of posts but couldnt find the answer...

Ik want to install this SMF forum and that is going well! BUT.. I cant convert my PHPBB2 database and all the post's to the new SMF forum. What could it be? I keep getting an error message and i think it has something to do with the Database thing..

Can you say a bit about how you try to do the conversion and what the error is?

I had some troubles as well trying to convert from PHPBB2 to SMF 1.1 RC1 .

What I did was first convert to SMF 1.05 and then do the upgrade to 1.1 ....

Worked perfectly....

I directly converted from 2.0.19 to RC2 . Worked great. Can you, Chaser, give what the error is?
