Installing Packages

Sorry if this has been asked before ..

I'm new to SMF and running 1.1RC2 .

It seems that when I try to install some packages the files that get 'copied' from the package to
where they belong on the board are 0 bytes in length .   Despite the package manager telling me
the install was successful .

I've check'd permissions and they seem ok .

any ideas ?

Hya,

I expect you have dl the package originally to your computer first. Just mouseover the zip file and it will tell you if there is any files in there, if there is re-upload and tick over write files. You may have used browse your computer so just go through the steps and check the zip file.

Just ftp which ever files appear to be 0 bytes.

I could do that but non of the 'edits' get done either ..
