Problem converting from ipb1.2

I shifted my ipb board to a new server and was having probs.
I decided to migrate to SMF as it is amazing.
I'm trying to use the converter but it keeps givinf an error

Sorry, the database connection information used in the specified installation of SMF cannot access the installation of Invision Power Board. This may either mean that the installation doesn't exist, or that the MySQL account used does not have permissions to access it.

Can you tell me which permissions I need to change?
The paths and the password are right.

Make sure that both MySQL user accounts have access to both databases.
