emoticon path wrong

I just installed 1.0.3. The path to the emoticons is correct in the settings but wrong on the page. Any idea what's wrong? Is this a known bug? How do I fix this?

I found the problem. The default URL inserted during installation is wrong - path is right, URL is wrong.

When you move things there are quite a few things that need attention, smilies, attachments, themes, other than default ........

To name but a few, it always pays to check, particularly if you are using a database backup for a test site.

I didn't move anything. It was configured incorrectly by the install program. I thought this would be considered a bug, but apparently not since Unknown moved my post.

There is also a problem with button paths. I'm trying to find where that's set so I can fix it.

Use repair_settings.php to fix it.  What is repair_settings.php?

What is the URL?  I would guess you changed it to something incorrect during the install.

You put this in Fixed or Bogus Bugs.  I am not going to consider anything posted in that board as a bug.

Thanks for the link to repair_settings.php. There was the same problem in the avatar URL as the Smileys URL (correct in the path, forum subdirectory missing in the URL). All fixed now.

I don't think I did anything wrong when I installed the forum - the fact that it was correct in the path and wrong in the URL seems to suggest it wasn't any I entered incorrectly at installation. I hadn't changed anything - it's a fresh installation.

Oh duh. I need to get out of the habit of skimming. I'll look for the bug reporting forum.
