I upgraded to the new version with no problems and it was working until I got back from a trip I took this last weekend. I am the only one besides my isp that has access to the ftp.

I recieved this from support:

Hello,

This error is due to incorrect permissions on the script files for the forums. Please make sure the php files are chmoded to 755 at most, and that you do not have any php_value or php_flag entries in your .htaccess files.

-------

I noted no .htaccess files on my server. ???

-------

Later I got this reply:

"They should be set to chmod 755 as php scripts on nebula, as it is on suphp now run as the user, rather than as nobody."

-------
Double ??? for that one.

Any help at all here, since I have alot of mad users on my hands at the moment since the start of this week, would be appreciated.
Not being able to update correctly stinks.

Indeed it would be helpful if you posted the full error messages which are in your forum and a link to your phpinfo and your forum.

Sounds like your server owners switched from ISAPI to CGI, which means you have to change permissions on the php files.
