Hi

some of my users reported problems after 1.08 / 1.14 updates

First...
If I use joomla user manager user is not there... (user has been there, before upgrade)
I see user is logged in..but missing group
But user is able to work like a registered one

Then I tried again the sync feature (after big issues yesterday, i wont use joomla to smf once again..)
so sync smf to joomla

report...
user already exists(but why i m not able to see him in user manager of joomla anylonger)

and again sync issues:

MA DB function failed with error number 2006
MySQL server has gone away SQL=SELECT id, title, module, position, content, showtitle, params FROM jos_modules AS m WHERE m.published = 1 AND m.position = 'header' AND m.client_id = 1 ORDER BY m.ordering

This error is associated with the use of two databases, where the SMF database user does not have access to the Joomla database.

i only have one database
and it also shows me the synched user
yesterday you also saw that logins work..mostly..

there is only one..one user, one password...

and the issue is only for some users

edit:
clicked on a user in the mainadmin page list who is logged in..but without any entry like registered..this way, i get to user data..

i marked registered (like it is alreadyin phpmyadmin)
save
DB function failed with error number 1062
Duplicate entry '18--298' for key 1 SQL=UPDATE jos_core_acl_groups_aro_map SET group_id = 18 WHERE aro_id = 298

so..is it possible that sync groups is same issue..like other sync..
see my post from yesterday, about blown up database when sync from joomla to smf...2000 extra users...passhashes in email fields and so on
