I like to do what you all did with the old YABBSE forum.  That is lock everything except the search and  browse functions for non-admin users (guests).  I would like to be able to do all functions when logged in as admin.  You see I've got about four years of posts in my YABBSE forums.  A lot of them have valuable info that I don't want to throw away.  However, there is a lot of garbage I'd like to cull at my leisure.  I would start a new forum with SMF and only the posts from this year.  In other words, I want to start an archive.  Thank you.  Larry
