Ive got the urge!! :o :o :o

To learn a little more about PHP :D

A lot more to be honest as I know nothing really ::)

I read through pages of script and it all means absolutely nothing to me. Just a lot of nonsense and random characters. It does mean something though, and if you know how to work with it you can do some really good stuff!

On that basis, how can someone like me with good computer skills but no knowledge of PHP get to begin understanding what it all means and how to use it to create something?

Books, www?

Any advice gratefully received ;)

Tiztag and php.net are both helpful resources

Visit your local library and pick up some PHP books.  Go to your local bookstore and flip thru some of the PHP books, find one you like, and order it from Amazon.
