SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC2
Sometimes my forum just dies completely, and when I try to view it, it just says "Service Unavailable".

My forum is here [nofollow]. It's in Swedish.

One guy I asked said it was a script that "ate" up the memory and the performance of the server, but he didn't know which...

Best thing to do is ask your host.

I did that, he that had the server said it was a script that "ate" up the memory and the performance of the server, but he didn't know what script...

Any idea how to find the script? Or can it be a mod's fault?

Ben_S

If it's a shared server then it could be anything on the server, your host is the only one who can find out, if they haven't got a clue then maybe they shouldn't be running a webhost.

Who is the host?

Acctually, it was a mod's fault, VisualWarnings.

When the server restarted, I checked the errorlog and saw that it had 75 pages... maybe 70 of them were the same error:

8: Undefined index: visual_warn
Fil: C:\home\kunder\9091\ugms.se\Sources\Subs.php
Rad: 3555

I removed the mod and hopefully it'll work fine now...

Ben_S

An undefined index warning probably wouldn't cause any real problems

No, I see that now too, the uninstallation didn't help  :(

But (I may be wrong, I'm not good with php) can it be any problem with the mods maybe? When I try to uninstall them, they generate errors in the tests.
