I'm resigned to waiting... good things come to those who wait... and all that.

I'm not sure what's going on with the Add-on, but since it's been almost a month since announced, and nothing really has come of it yet, I bet they are having some problems.  I'm trying to wait, but I have a few weeks of slow time now, and need to get my site ported over to a good CMS/Portal.

I've tried the Beta of WhiteRabbit's SMF & Mambo project, and it's not too bad, although I was hoping to stay with SMF. . .

Could we get an honest status report of this project?  I know there is lots of interest, and "soon" is quite subjective.  (A month could be 'soon' to a Buddist monk, but it's an eternity to a geek.)

The product is currently in pre-beta testing stages...

I'm not sure if I'd be giving too much away (heck I don't even know if I'm onto the correct thing) but would this in anyway be in relation to or connected with Something?  Anyone who actually knows what the add-on is perhaps could PM me and I can bounce off them what I think it is to see if I'm correct without giving too much away to everyone else.

Nice idea!
Something light for those who don't want to use LSP...

Why wouldn't you want to use Enigma from LSP or the next version Nebula ?  ???
I've gone through approx the same stages YaBB > YaBBSE > YaPP > PfaBB > Enigma > ... and allthough ofcourse I'm very curious abouth this new "thing" I'm also very happy with Enigma and especially the support these guys and gal's are giving ...

But as a whole lot of others I'm eagerly awaiting the release of this "thing" and of Nebula to start comparing. I've seen the site of the new thing and yes it looks nice but I'd like to take a peak "under the hood" to see what advantages it would have over Enigma from LSP....

This OS community is a great thing but it sure teaches you to be patient fom time to time....  ;)
Everytime I get comfortable with software THEY change it ...

Cerberus

Ernst, I think that you misunderstood me :(.
I was saying that this Add-on is good for those who don't need the power and flexibility of LSP, but I'm not one of those ;D
I'm waiting for Nebula too (as you may see, I've asked many times at lunabyte.com 8) )
Best Regards, Cerberus

The add-on is quite a bit different than LSP, so there really shouldn't be too much competition between the two.
