ok i can't find this problem in this topic. i installed the gallery lite on a message board... and it works fine UNTIL you click the thumbnail to view the larger image... and then you get the following:

Not Acceptable

An appropriate representation of the requested resource /forum/index.php could not be found on this server.

how do i fix it?

vbgamer45

Sounds like a mod_security or permissions issue

oh i'm so dumb, i actually had already posted this question a few weeks ago!

i did try the suggestions in that topic at that time, to no avail, but i'll try again. the odd thing is, i've got another site on the same server, and have never had this problem on that site.

LadyC

ok, i tried it again, editing the .htaccess file, and again it didn't resolve the issue i'm having. any other suggestions?

vbgamer45

Try changing the webserver permission on the gallery folder itself

it's currently set wide open, 777... what settings does that folder need to be?

vbgamer45

That should be more than enough permission wise.

I'm currently running SMF 1.1.4 and tinyportal 0.9.8, I also have Coppermine gallery bridged with this.

I would really like to try SMF Gallery, and was just wondering, would this mess up my existing bridge, or alter my existing gallery button if I install it?  Or would it be safe to give it a go.

Sorry for dumb question. ;)  My site is here, http://cameracraniums.com/

vbgamer45

It shouldn't mess with the bridge nor alter the button on your theme.

oops, forgot to ask this question.   When I install this mod, does it create a folder called gallery in the forum root?   Because I already have one in there called gallery for my coppermine gallery.   (Just don't want to overwrite that one).

Yes it does.

Phew, good job I didn't install it then. ;)  Is there any way around this problem as I would really love to try this package?

Hi - trying to install this.  Here is the error I get:
512: parseModification(): The filename '\\NAWINFS02\home\users\web\b912\rh.dfstaff\forum/Sources/ManagePermissions.php' is not a full path!
File: \\NAWINFS02\home\users\web\b912\rh.dfstaff\forum\Sources\Subs-Package.php
Line: 1339

Any ideas?
