Just a few questions about the pro version before i buy, wonder if anyone can help

1) can u set a max number of images that people can upload a day (im making a gallery .eg funny pics, where people can upload funny into one gallery and dont want for instance one person to upload 50 pics that are stupid and ruin the whole thing, so want to set it to something like 2 pics a day

and B

if that feature is available, can it be set for certain gallerys (2 posts only) but if they had a private folder, they could still upload as many as they want to that
so posting restrictions on some, but unrestricted in others

Both of those features currently do not exist in the pro edition.

Hello! I really like this mod and would like to install it but I have run into an issue and stopped before any possible damage was done. I uploaded the zip file and ran the installer but got this error:

At the bottom of the page I saw this which came up during the test install:

Can someone please advise me as to whats causing this and what coarse of action do I take in order to install this mod successfully.

That one is ok to ignore Modifications.english-utf8.php unless you are using english utf8 on your board.

Thank you for the reply. Is there a way to check to see if that file you mentioned is being used? It's not in the list from the install.

Admin -> Server settings if your language is just english you can ignore it.

hi guys,

im having a prob viewing SMF gallery... im using  version gallery1.8.3 and SMF 1.1.5..

i can uploda pictures bt i cant view the pictures in full image... its giving me HTTP 406 error..cany anyone guide me how i can fix this error..??

Anyway we can use SSI to grab say the last 5 pictures that were uploaded and show them on the main page?

Not built in but you could code a function to do that.

Quick question for ya,

Is it possible to have the latest 5 images from a specific user displayed in their own profile?
If so...could you advise me how I might do so?

Anything is possible if you got the code.  I do have a mod in the pro version of the gallery in the customer forums that I believe adds some recent pictures to a user's profile.
