Post Image Upload is an add on mod for SMF gallery pro, it is used in the text editor and combines adding an image to the gallery with adding an image link to your post, so that the image displays in your post.

I made an updated version it works for Pro and Free

Just checked my PHP Version in myphp is saying my version is "PHP version: 8.1.26" but still telling me I need version 8

Perhaps your sites have a different version each?
In the admin you can check for it, go to Admin > Maintenance > Server settings > PHP info.

It's where it says 'Core'.

Thanks They all say 7.4.33

But Myphpadmin says

It's not important as prob wont be using it just wanted to look lol

It's quite possible for phpMyAdmin to be running its own version of PHP especially if you're on hosting with a PHP version switcher...

In cpanel there is a php version area you can change the PHP version of your site. MultiPHP manager I believe.

Thanks just found cPanel, Never noticed it before, Always thought my client area was it lol

Had one issue in my pledges mod it didn't like "cannot be called statically"

So I changed the problem function from

public function PledgesToBeConfirmed()

To

public static function PledgesToBeConfirmed()

to be honest not 100% sure what I'm doing there.

Added some built in translations for German, Spanish-es, and French. Just note these are AI assisted translations and should give a good start for most users.

I've just installed this on my development SMF forum and am receiving a Warning Gallery path is not writable! /xxxxxxxxxx.com/gallery/

The sub directory exists in the public.html folder on the server

Any ideas?

That's now fixed - came down to pathing and permissions.
But I have another problem - when you click on the TNs the image blows out the View Ports on mobiles and squashes in horizontally

Interested to know on the image size width/height.

I'm using a SamsungS7 with Chrome.
The original image is 1040 x 726
When I screenshot it and download it it goes to 1080x1920
original and downloaded images sent vb

@vbgamer45 - The Image doesn't retain aspect ratio as I shrink threw view ports in a browser. Thumbnails are ok, its the non TN image the TN is tapped. Otherwise awesome plug in.

Haven't forgot have to see if I have fix in pro edition/compare code.
There is still some unresolved responsive in the gallery, css is not my strong point/using divs instead of tables.

I recently upgraded my forum to 2.1.4 and my SMF Gallery Pro gallery isn't showing any longer. I found the lite version at SMF mods section, but I purchased the Pro version years ago. Is it still possible to download that package again to my forum somehow? Thanks!
