Support for edonkey links

So they will be automatically be converted into clickable links.

it's similar to sig2dat from KaZaa/KaZaa Lite... you click the link in your browser, and the file(s) are automatically added to the file transfer window of Kazaa/edonkey

Yes, but then the RIAA would sue us for promoting such stuff.  I don't think it's a good idea to get into things like that.

then maybe it is better to make this as external MOD instead of implementing it directly into the default distribution

or.. have it in such a way that its not included by default, but is easily addable by an admin... there must be other things that use a similar system, it would be a cool thing to have

You know what people do with eDonkey ? This must be the last thing that will be included in SMF.

There has been talk of allowing admins to define their own BBC tags but this most likely will wait for 1.1.
