[solved] RC3-1 patch failure... help.

SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC3
Hi all,

I get an error when attempting to patch a vanilla install of RC-3 to RC3-1.

My host is www.110mb.com and all is working well.
I don't have any mods installed and everything works fine.

Any ideas what's causing it ?



Edit:   Turns out I had to create a temp folder (under "Packages" folder) manually :-)

It's probably an issue with their server configuration. Are there any errors in your forum error log?

You might want to consider asking for help on their forums - they've also got SMF 1.1 RC3 installed, so they can probably help you figure out what's causing the problem.

If all else fails you can just install the mod manually - see Manual Installation of Mods.

Thanks for the reply.. It's probably me having an incorrect path for avatars and uploads etc..

I don't know what path to use when the php connects as localhost.

Try asking on their support forums or browsing their FAQs. I'm sure the information is available there someplace
