Hey, I was wondering, is their any way to add an upload function to users' profile options? Then the uploaded files would be sent to attachments, and be sorted out? Thanks for any info on this !

The media center doesn't deal with .swf files (which I presume you refer to as game files)...you should look at SMF Arcade for that.

please can you create a mod which shows all types of attachments in the forum

all types means exe files, image, video, music, all types

 The Tiny Portal mod would allow you to have a downloads area so maybe that would answer what you now require...it would not run games just allow their download. Your members would have to upload to the TP system and not have their files as attachments to postings for it to work.

I am using TP and the download section of TP allows download of only uploaded files and this is not what I  am looking for

well mediacenter is the mod I am looking for .......................

I want a mod which scans attachments made in post and mediacenter does that
well my request is that mediacenter only looks for image, video nad music files

so I request for an advanced mediacenter mod which scans all filestypes attached in posts made by members

"You can filter out the results of attachments from specific boards by adding ;mediaboards=ID_OF_BOARDS to the url.  You can add more than one board by separating the id with a comma."

edit: I changed the MediaCenter.php file to filter by board insted of by topic, and renamed the mediatopic-paramter to mediaboards. Ugly but it works. I will never filter by topic, but most definitely filter out some boards.

Yea I intend to do more work on this mod when I get the time.  This is one of the few mods that I plan to keep for a while.

Its a very good mod for forums that have alot of attachments ya know it could almost be more popular than the forum im serious.

No this mod does not allow file uploads.  Just take into account the files that are uploaded to topics.

means can u please expand the capabilities of this mod to show attached files like txt, doc, xls, zip files etc

It is possible to do this but not with this mod.  Would need to get something for SSI.php.  I like the idea.  I'll see if I have time to write something up.

is there any way to categorise the attachments

like a category list on left side and when the user clicks one category attachments from that category are displayed.

the category list will be the board names and the attachments they display will be the attachments from that board.
