Visual verification not showing up

I've got a new 1.1 final install, and for some reason, the visual verification image is AWOL.

It just doesn't show up in Firefox, and shows a broken image link in IE.

I tried installing the advanced visual verification mod but show a parse error with the modification, so I didn't install it.

I'm unsure where to go for the solution, or what other info is required... but any advice is appreciated.

I have the same problem after upgrading from 1.1RC3

Mothman install this http://mods.simplemachines.org/index.php?mod=474 it works perfectly and is better than the default verification.

It's supposed to have been improved on the final and to some extent it has but on mine the characters are still pretty small and are not random

I would, except, as I said, it was indicating a modification parse error for me in the pre-install in the Package Manager.

MothMan,

Where you able to install the modification?

You might read on how to manually install mods.
