Problems from Yabb 2.1 to SMF

I have tried the sticky in the forum as well.

I am trying to convert from YaBB 2.1 to SMF, and I am running a linux server. I am the host, so I know that everything is set right....

It just stops there, I don't know what to do now. This is for a client, and I am new to SMF. Any help is appreciated!

Does the browser refresh or anything?  Do you have javascript enabled?
