n00bs can see it - they can't post it. The links are gabled meaning that they make no sense to search engines and aren't even clickable links. That is it, that is all the mod does. :)

I removed what I think was an older version of this mod. Although the code still remains on my forum. So I downloaded the newest version of this mod to take a look at where the code was placed. So I looked in my Subs-Post.php and the code isn't there, yet my forums are still garbling my URLs. Was there an older version that stuck the code in a different spot? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Nope, only one version was ever released and it only edits the single file. Got a link to your site so I can check it out?

I'll be here for a week or so enjoying the sunny Floridian weather so I should have ample time. I might actually move here 'cause I'm kind of liking this heat.

Well I fixed the problem. It somehow was installed twice and the uninstall only removed one block of the code. So I removed it, works fine now.

Install the package that is there and then go edit that file itself with a plain text editor such as notepad or crimson editor. www.crimsoneditor.com
I had the same corruption problem and this trick fixed it, installed nicely and works great. This is one of the most useful mods there is for stopping spammers. :)

This is the best mod so far, bravo man.

Anybody try this mod in 1.1.6 and know whether it works?

Kenny01

I updated my forum to 1.1.6 and it's still working.
