I agree. This mod should be banned.

read the boards at the creators site....this mod is nothing but a hassle!! After installation, and its accessed in the admin cp, it removes itself from the package manager listing, making uninstallation impossible, with exception to OVERWRITING your SMF files....anyone who wants to stay updated with SMF, etc is NOT recommended to use this mod..as said, don't believe me? go look at this creators site. NO ONE can uninstall/update it after its installed

The problems caused by this mod alone is enough to turn away SMF users, If I were SMF, i would remove and ban this mod from the mod site.....I've spent the last 3 days overwriting my smf files and reinstalling everything because of this md alone....3 strikes you are out! Wont ever use this or anything made by the creator ever again.....

Why should it be? If you don't like it just don't use it. Many many people such as myself had it working properly, I only just had a problem because of my host.

I run this mode without any major bug. The only problems I had installing it was due to the rights ont he files (should be 644).

hi i had this installed befor i upgraded  my forum but when i upgraded all my mods uninstalled and when i go to install this im getting this

It simply means it is already installed.
So you can ignore that.

but it isnt installed anymore and im trying to reinstall because when i upgrded all my mods got uninstalled therfore no mods where installled how can i ignore it when i cant install it because of that database error

Then you can either install the mod manually, or remove those rows from the database.
If I remember correctly the rows are inside smf_settings (if smf_ is your table prefix) and all start with seo4smf_
But you'll loose all your settings you did before then.

I have major problems... I went onto my forum today (didn't modify anything) and it seemed alright. I soon realised when I clicked on a page other than 1 in a topic it would just direct me back to 1.

I tried turning off SEO4SMF to see if that was the problem but it didn't help. So I turned it off and removed the htaccess file and my forum worked again.

Could this problem be related to the new PHPSuExec being installed on my server?

I tried that, but anyway I was using this mod for months and changed nothing, then one day I get the error, so it wasn't the version because it was up to date.

my domain is forum.xxxxx.com, I have problem to access certain URLs i.e My Messages, Admin, Search, Help

I am getting this error The requested URL /help.html was not found on this server.

i have tried to use RewriteBase /forum but If I enable this then i can not access to any url..

Ok I now have another problem. I tried to install the seo mod before I installed the advert mod, I unistalled the seo mod as I could not get it working properly, But after installing and down loading the advert mod and replacing the script by downloading the zip and replacing the 3 templates, I now have a link at the top of every post, one which is (Dig This) and the other is (StumbleUpon this site) I also went to phpMyAdmin and had a look at the smf1 data base and there is no reference to any of the seo4smf files. I have posted this message on the advert thread and they say that this has nothing to do with the add mod

and in the error logs on every post is this

Is this from the seo4smf mod and how can I get ridd of it, as i unistalled this mod.
