Templates for YaBB SE

Just email the board admin, he may even let you have his/her template

I had one guy steal one of my templates before. I was visiting sites in my refer and came across it. I had him shut down. Now if he would of asked me nicely I probably would of gave him permission if he gave me credit for the design work. I would even probably sent him an zip up version.

not exactly steal, but... www.boardmod.org has some templates that you can use, you just need to add the additional css for YaBB SE, like .editor and .meaction (maybe there are some more, i cant remember)

also check some button packages released in YSE forum, sometimes they come with a nice template, i know A.M.A.'s usually do, he makes really nice templates

So that doesn't have to be stealing if they've advertised their template and given their permission, which is why I wondered if you were using the word in a jokey sense! But your question is both unfortunately worded and open to misinterpretation if that's what you meant...

  I am sorry about it, but i have to mention that i am not an english speaking person, and I have not studyed it at all. Only know it as much as I have learned it from movies.

I like movies And I am pretty good in learning things.... English is not so hard to learn. It was harder, when i teached myselve basics on programming by reading helps from excel macro programming tool

There are other possible reasons such as looking for feedback. It shows better netiquette if you ask first before you use other people's graphics or templates.

  Yeah. Me too.

  But the idea of this one, was to put my template to show, and that if someone wants that one, that someone could use it too.

  I am upgrading the forum to SMF someday, and allready tested if the template converts ok! and it did.

  So I wasn't in to stealing anyone elses board template, but if someone gives me a link to something that i like, and even tells me that i can use it.....

If they are the creator of whatever the link is of, then I see no problem of it. But if they stumble across a link with a kick ass theme in it, and send it to someone, and say that they can use it, even though they are not the creator of it... then that's just plain dumb, IMO.

  That's why I would ask from the forum admin, that i can find from that link.

Okay, it is still possible, that it is stolen, but that risk is just something that I can live with.

  And I am kind of guilty by myselve, cos my theme isn't completely made by myselve, most of it is modifycated by some user of the forum. However I have their permission to spread it around.
