I LOVE THIS THEME

Just a question though, bloc. Is there any way we can "separate" the sticky topics from normal topics? Ive been trying to figure it out, but I cant seem to do it.

Hope you can help me
i need the same thing! It's bit different from default theme? Because i didn't figure it using tips and tricks section!

One more question, how to add 'new topic' button while seeing another topic! I didn't find button array() options! Where should i add code! :(

Julian.

First, very nice work. Thanks.

But I've got one problem: some buttons are not displayed.

Its a very nice theme, is it compatible with TPv0.9.8?

Love the theme. Is just what I was looking for as a casual family and friends thing. stickytape will put some technophobes at ease.

I have but one request: An Image replacement from register to invite would be excellent for use with the invite only mod set.

In time I might make my own side bar (keeping theme credit to yourself of course)

I have noticed though that there are a couple of glitches when hovering over items to clip the bottom of others (mainly reg clipping lower login). That's a tiny thing though.

After this and Wiki Style I am looking forward to more sidebar based themes with a full admin page to manage the sidebar (being a lazy git)
I will try to setup the button generator for it, so you can create new buttons.

Errors in Error log:

Undefined offset: 1
File: /home/zzz/Themes/Scrabbles/languages/ThemeStrings.english.php (eval?) line 104
for every page, action, this error s filling up my log! I have only admanagement, registered links mods....

I didn't quiet understand the blocks you given for admin in current theme settings! Hope, you must have given more explanation on how to use them?

It might be missing langauge strings, I am working on ironing out any glitches.

The blocks? You mean the fileds to add more links/pages on top? Have alook at the suppliee "about" page, it explains everything there.

If you really need a change to Display.templatem try taking it out altogehter from Scribbles, so you can use your modded default Display.template.

New topic buttons in Display?

Most likely missing language buttons...what language do you use?

Indeed it is. :) It should be a Scribbles TP version in the download section at http://www.tinyportal.net.

German UTF-8. But even after changing to English UTF-8 buttons are not displayed.

Hm..if its broken images, can you see what path its trying to get it from?

Julian.

Ok, I fixed it. I created a folder "german-utf8" in scribble images and put all images from "english" sub into it.

NativePages

GREAT theme, Bloc. Do the standard gallery packages work with it, or have you tried that yet?

I came, I saw, I installed, I asked a million questions, but eventually I got it!

coby

First, I like to thank you for such a great looking theme.

I have two questions.
How do I activate the gallerey image to work on rollover. I have installed a smf gallery, but I had to make a link on the top.

Also, any word on the ad management? I installed it but yet to figure out how to make it work with this theme.

Thanks once again and please keep up the great work.

Awesome theme! Question, how do I get the gallery button to activate? I have the SMF Gallery Lite 1.7.1 package loaded.

Edit: ignore this question, I've got other issues unrelated to Scribbles

ashelleydesign

I absolutely adore this theme and will heart broken if I can not fix my problem and use this theme!!

I have installed 2 times and still can not get the images (print, mark post read, etc) to show up. All I get are red X's. Icons like: MEMBERS, FORUM STATS AND USERS ONLINE do show up, though.

This is a clean install (well one is).

1 install with RSS feed Mod:
hxxp:christianfinedecor.com/upperroom/index.php?action=admin [nonactive]

1 install without RSS feed Mod:
hxxp:christianfinedecor.com/theupperroom/index.php?action=admin [nonactive]

Can I get some help. Please and thank you in adavance! Angie

this might be similar to the problem i'm having with new BBC code i've installed.

i've installed the 'SPOILER' and 'YOUTUBE' tags and because scribbles doesn't appear to have a post.template.php file in it's theme, it's not picking up the correct button icons, so when you post a new message, you just get the word "YOUTUBE" instead of the graphic.

i'm tempted to copy the default post.template.php into the scribbles directory just to see what it does but i'm afraid i might kill it :D

is there another solution to integrating these mods into the theme as it's the main theme for my whole site?

jasonwatkins

well, for the record, i copied the post.template.php file from the default directory into the scribbles directory and it made no difference.

i've taken a screenie to show you what the buttons look like (or don't, as the case may be ..)

jasonwatkins

does anyone have a mod to allow access to the SMF arcade as well ?

i could feasibly try editing the graphic in the menu, but i can't really draw well ..

Surferbird,

I don't recall asking your "review" on this theme(or any other for that matter), this is primarily a news/support topic on it, and quite frankly - if thats all you can say about it then I suggest: do one better yourself.

???
rather silly and disingenuous remark <sniff> of COURSE you ask for "reviews" on it, why 'announce' it then?

You'd have lapped up the fawning praise sweetly enough, so its expected there may be lumps in the milk from time to time! :D

...primmadonnas.. lol

(BTW. lovely theme much better than those boxy, rectangular things!)

:P

I don't know..maybe because the rather "stupid" review given maybe..? In fact, if you call me "primadonna" I'll take it as a compliment - I spend far too much time trying to please people in all their whims, sad to say. Its about time I get a bit "selfish", I hear friends saying lol. I don't expect you to answer, elfishtroll, so don't wind yourself up over it.

Copy over the template won't work..in fact its just the opposite: if a theme doesn't use a template, it will fallback on default theme..and that one HAS been modded. The missing buttons is due to you needing to copy any new buttons/images in default theme(from the mod) to Scribbles folder as well.

Its presently hard to add more links..I will be changing that, but right now there is big list of other things to attend to first.

:) Friends who would encourage you to acquire one of the human failings of selfishness are more sycophant than friend I suppose! They would be better friends to continue to praise your good qualities, your creative mind and generous spirit rather than encouraging the opposite!

Anyway, what I really want to know (changing the topic abruptly and cheerfully) is what License is this theme released under? PD-Public Domain, GPL-or some flavor of it, SMF-license , CC-Creative Commons /non-commercial use only, etc?
???
