Is there any possiblity you can make a converter from FUD (2.6.0) to SMF?

FUD: hxxp:fudforum.org/forum/ [nonactive]

edit: this is the right forum to make this kind of post in, isn't it? ???

Would you be willing to let us work with a database dump?

the problem with fud that it hasn't everything in the database, all messages is stored in a plain text file (formated as html), at our forum this file is 85 MB big (public msg)
I don't know if this file is needed in creation of a converter, the database is ony holding pointers to this file, one startposition and a length variable (I think)

Has this happened? Is there a Fud -> smf convertor?

Cheers,

Tobias

ok - thanky.

I have an active Fud forum that is relatively small so let me know if it would be helpful to email you the files so you can develop a convertor for those wishing to move to SMF from Fud. For this particular group we are happy with the Fud setup, but have many years of mailman list archives (MBOX files) we'd be interested in importing to SMF - hopefully this will be possible someday. :-)

I'm in the process of moving from Washington DC to Seattle right now, so not going to be able to contribute too much to these discussions - but very excited to see that they are going on.

Cheers,

Tobias
