Paypal is currently the only payment option, as far as i'm aware.

You'd have to email info [at] simplemachines [dot] org to inquire about specialized payment methods.

For questions such as that, it would be best to contact the project managers themselves. You can email them at info [at] simplemachines.org

But if you have a Western Union account, I assume you have at least a savings?
Paypal will accept savings accounts. And Paypal is free :D

Western Union account? I have always sent money through them, but I don't have an account. I simply show my ID, give the money and that's it; I have no account. But I'm interested on that, since paypal is new in my country and I can send money with it--I can't receive but I don't need it now.

Could you please care to explain that to me? Through PM, if you find it more convenient. Thanks :)

Please do not PM for support - anything else is usually OK.

We accept checks as well.  It says so on the chart page.

Checks? How do I do that? I'm in Colombia, and our "send money overseas" recourses are limited ¬¬

Well the address is on the about section.  I guess you can send the check like regular mail.

If your bank can issue a "bank check", it is an option. A bank check is issued from your bank and should be accepted internationally. Of course, the receiving bank usually deducts a fee from the face value if it is from outside the country. The bank check is similar to the Cashier's Check, but you usually aren't charged for one.

Well, that sounds reasonable, thanks. I'll look into this, if I ever get enough money. I hope I do :)
