SMF Version: SMF 1.1.3
Hi guys,

I am experiencing a problem with my forums running in wrapped mode. I use joomla with smf wrapped within it using Orstios bridge.

Everything was working fine before I applied the joomla 1.0.13 update which meant that no one could login. Luckily I had backups and reverted back to the joomla 1.0.12 installation, and ran the backup sql queries that I had.

Now the site is working, when anyone goes into the forum, everything works until the user tries to post a topic or reply to a topic. They successfully do that however once the page reloads with the updated topic, it loads the forum in standalone/unwrapped mode and it is not longer wrapped in joomla!!!!

HELP ME PLEASE  :)

I'm running:
Joomla 1.0.12
Community builder 1.02
Orstios (i think) smf bridge (The one that used to be supplied on this site)
Current SMF version: SMF 1.1.4
PHP version: 5.2.3
MySQL version: 5.0.24a-standard-log
Server version: Apache/2.0.54 (Unix) PHP/4.4.7 mod_ssl/2.0.54 OpenSSL/0.9.7e mod_fastcgi/2.4.2 DAV/2 SVN/1.4.2
GD version: bundled (2.0.34 compatible)

Moving to the Joomla Bridge Support area, where support will likely be much quicker for this issue.

Orstio

Turn off SEF in SMF.  If you wish to use SEF, turn it on in Joomla, not in SMF.

Thanks Orstio. That trick worked a charm.

One question though, Does this happen because of SMF 1.1.4? I had SEF enabled in the forum with the bridge in 1.1.3 and it worked without a problem?

Strange isnt it? the sef in SMF was working ever since I installed smf 1.0.1 rc2!
