Support for restricted forum?

Can I make a forum where user needs to have password in order to register as a user of the forum?

You can set it so all new registered people must be approved before they can use the forum.  But I don't know of any settings or mods that make it able to have a password before they can even register.

If you want to lock down you forum, make sure Guest can browse the forum is turned off and force all to register to even view it.
