Well, guys, just wanted to say thanks for being (in majority at least ;)) so supportive of me when I tend to be so ******y.
I don't deserve any of the praise -- I think any barely competent PHP coder would do at least as well as I do, if they spent as much time on the project as I do. It's really a matter of logic here. But I'll still take the nice words and run off, because I'm a pirate at heart! Arrrr!
I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered.

Aeva Media rocks your life.

Arantor

Nao: Given the stuff I've seen you sling around the beta boards, you're not barely competent, you're a long way beyond that.

As an experienced coder myself, I've seen a LOT of code around here, and I gotta say your standard is consistently high.
Holder of controversial views, all of which my own.

Angelotus

Ok Nao, will take that in mind.
Thanks for your help!

Neo,

Thanks for your great help and wonderful mod!
Morpheus,

You're welcome.

@To all> I'll leave it at that for the night. I'll release v1.1a tomorrow with the fix mentioned in the first post of this page, since it seems to work...

Yeah, like that parse_bbc() conflict I introduced *by myself* in RC3+AeMe? ;) ;) ;)

(As for you, I'm waiting for your sig to say "100%" and then I'll give SimpleDesk a try. Y'never know, maybe it'll ease my work on tech support :)) (Oh, and sorry for not replying a PM, it's becoming a bad habit for me... If I don't ever reply it-- thanks for it! It felt so close to what I think.)

Repeat after me: I will tell the author exactly what's going wrong, rather than say "it went belly up."

Nao: You know it won't stay at 100%... Because the minute we get 1.0 out publicly... I'll be updating it to reflect our 1.1 development branch :P

The last time it approached 100% it got sent to the beta testers, and it promptly dropped back into the 80's.  :)
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can an evil tree bring forth good fruit.

Arantor

tfs has it quite right, though we're hovering in the high 90s right now and I don't foresee it dropping back to the 80s that quickly...

[unplugged]

The future of AM? It installs flawlessly on RC3 with lots of mods and heavy edited theme. What more can you ask for?

My view is that you, and others, are giving me a whole bunch of really cool stuff and help with it at absolutely no cost. Arantor's been very helpful to me too, since he's hangin around this thread :)

I don't see myself as having any right to demand or complain. Inquire, suggest... OK. There's also simple human nature at work. When you're appreciative and complimentary people want to help you. When you're critical and childish they tend to take a "then figure it out yourself" attitude.

I've always gotten along fine with you which is interesting because on issues unrelated to SMF or your mods I have a feeling we would disagree on... quite a bit, but what does that matter here?

I hope you get well soon and can see your way clear to get past this latest uproar. I volunteer to write your responses when you get the urge to bludgeon somebody with your keyboard O:)

Quote@Rafferty> Is Highslide disabled on your setup? Embedded videos are only counted when viewing them via Highslide. This is to avoid having two view counts when viewing through HS and then clicking the More Details link to read comments etc. I know I should make sure the view count is increased on page visit if HS is disabled, but... How can I say that... Is that really so important? Just enable HS, your users will thank you for that.

Highslide is enabled nao, I dont know whats going on

I'm running RC2 and a video embeds perfectly in the first post of a thread signature or not. The problem with the Load.php file looks familiar though as that was the file showing a Test Failed when I tried to uninstall an earlier version of Aeva. The problem was caused because I had forgotten I had installed Super Admin and had set it hidden. Once I uninstalled Super Admin I was able to unsintall Aeva and update to a newer version.

@saks> I see no problem on your site. Also, it says v1.0... Did you revert? If you do this kind of thing, tell me beforehand so I don't waste time testing... :-\
I am sorry! I have really come back to the old version for check. But at home the Internet has ended and I could not return new release, have not reached yet work this morning. At us so happens :( .Has now established release 230 and I will not touch it until then while you cannot look it.

O! I have read up messages up to the end and I see that you have made release 232. Now I will try to establish it and I will tell about results a bit later

The problem with highslide is remained :( Please help!
Pop-up metadate EXIF  too does not work, though in version 1 all worked correctly

Quote@chep> I think he's talking about empty parent folders. They serve as category separators in themselves. And yes, it should be possible to change the album positions after creating them, but you need to go to the "My Albums" link and change their positions there. It's easier to do there, if only because you can choose the new position inside a graphical list.

Nao,
Thanks for enlightening me. I went and double checked. Now it seems to me that you can only make an album a child of another album if it's when you create a new album. As far as I can see ..  Existing albums cannot be made childs of other albums. At least when I click on "edit" the option is not there but when I create a new one it is. Since my entire Gallery was imported from Coppermine I must have never noticed that feature and therefore cannot fully take advantage of it. If I can it is not very obvious how I would do so.

Thank you for pointing that out.
