Barra Flotante que invita a registrarse

Hola.
Yo tuve que quitar el script porque en i.explorer me salia el icono de error en la pagina en la barra de estado del navegador, solo con i.explorer. Funcionaba el foro de manera correcta, la quite por cuestión de estética.
Intente poner el script en un foro de prueba y me pasaba igual.
El error era que no encontraba objeto.
Porque puede ser?.

Quisiera hacer una pregunta: Existe la posibilidad de que la barra flotante se muestre a invitados y ciertos grupos, aunque este registrados, y a otros grupos no.

La idea es que la barra flotante salga según convenga a unos usuarios si y a otro no, independientemente de estar o no registrados, ya que se puede utilizar no solo para recordar el registro, sino para anunciar otro tipo de cosas.

Por ahora lo he resuelto manualmente del siguiente modo:

De este modo se visualiza el mensaje emergente a todo el mundo excepto los indicados en el if.

Tabiem se puede invertir y que solo aparezca el mensaje emergente a unos usuarios determinados, es decir solo a los moderadores o solo a los adminstradores, o a x usuarios determinados....

El resto es jugar con el script y modificar el mensaje-aviso que se quiera hacer.

Supongo que existen soluciones mucho mejores, pero por ahora esta es la 1ª que me ha funcionado de entre unas cuantas que he probado.

He instlado la barra segun el procedimiento de EgAr por ello. Pero fijaros como me queda, me queda un recuadro negro que os señalo en verde, no se, que hice mal.

La solucion era que tenias asignado un borde a tu div... border:1 solid black;

prueba quitandole ese.. que es lo que hice en lo que te paso..

sino me ekivoco eso es por qe te falto modificar el style.css
a mi me habia pasado lo mismo y lo solucione aciendo eso
