so confused.. SMF-> Mambo -> Gallery

I have a running SMF that I am happy with

I just installed Mambo

and I have a gallery

The only accounts I really care about are the SMF ones, and it looks like gallery is not really supported for an integration so I guess I can live with switching to coppermine.

What would be the steps? First integrate coppermine with SMF, then integrate that with mambo?

there are a lot of posts here and I have scanned them, seems like things update daily. So.. at this point in time keeping my SMF and wanting to integrate mambo (or something else) and some sort of gallery what is my best option?

I see the SMF/mambo integration package but I don't see if it keeps all the SMF accounts, and wether I should install coppermine first or if it matters?

Yes, the bridge keeps all the SMF accounts.

As people log in, it will also build Mambo accounts for each of the SMF accounts.

Integrating coppermine actually uses the SMF tables in places but does not modify any files on the SMF side... so it really doesn't matter what order you integrate them in.
(I did SMF-Coppermine then smf-mambo, if it matters)
