Any additional smiley from the default ones will need to be manually added to the list.  So you'll need to add those extra 200 manually.  I don't know of any automated method.

OUCH, that hurts!

Would be nice to have all listed and one can choose (by checkbox) which smileys to display in the editor. That would be the most convenient way I can think of.

Well no good thing comes easy :)

But you might be able to 'encase' it in a package and install it via the package manager.  Which in turn might automatically install all icons to the post status, then easily modify them to hidden or more sections.

How would I be able to create a package for SMF?

NO, please don't tell me, I won't take that bait!

you are able to add all 225 at once,

Admin>Smileys and Message Icons>Smiley Sets>New smiley set

type in the name and directory, then click 'Import smileys already in this directory'

then all you need to do is click Edit Smileys and set which ones are to be displayed in the post form, popup, or hidden

there is no need to do it manually.

Hi Ed

Thanks for the help and explanation so far, but I have a problem that maybe you can resolve please?

Quotetype in the name and directory, then click 'Import smileys already in this directory'

I do not have this option, nor do I have an option to "Edit Smiley Sets"

I am in the right place; Admin>Smileys and Message Icons>Smiley Sets>New smiley set
Double checked that.  I am running the latest version of the forum.

Thanks
Wayne

Thanks that worked but I would advise against loading large sets :(

It is a pretty cumbersome manual job in 1.1.4 to manage a big icon set. I especially miss a select all button in Add Smileys.
