I have the SMF 1.1.3 but it doesn't work,
gets an error saying "package corrupted"

As far as I know the package on Snake's site is fine...it may well work for you if you try downloading it with a different  browser...same with uploading to your forum.

well tried it with a different browser,
the forum still says it's not a package or ut may be corrupt.

maybe I'm doing something wrong?
I download what appears to be a 12 kb zip file,
and in the forum I go to the download packages page and upload this using the field on the bottom of the page.

I have tested the download and it is fine...the report you have from your forum suggests that it may not be an SMF version supported by the mod...the mod supports SMF 1.1.3 and 1.0.10 only. To get it to support other SMF versions you can use (at your own risk though I don't foresee any problems) version emulate.

Put ;emulate_version=1.1.3 at the end of the Package Manager URL

again, could it be that I'm not installing it properly? I don't know..

I've tried updating to SMF 1.1.4 oddely enough it accpeted the file after that,
but now when I try to apply it, it says something like "no install defined"

any ideas?

I REALLY need this mod for my forum 

and NOTHING seems to work for me with this one,
I even tried that emulate thing... no luck

I need to get this mod to work with SMF 1.1.4 and TP 0.9.8, I on;y know *some* (aka very little) php.  EVen if it was just for SMF 1.1.4 that would be good enough for me, and I don't think i'm the only one who would use this on 1.1.4.
