No, I mean try clicking my link - it still works. I made it work by replacing the :'s with %3A's.... which are equivalent in URLs. The site's webmaster need change nothing.

Then you have to teach your forum users that when linking... Maybe the :'s could be changed in the URLs by SMF, or would that open a security hole?
