Enhanced Quick Reply (Default Theme)

Hi,

I used this mod since I use SMF.
Today, I upgraded to RC3 and it didn't work...

So I made some modifications and it gave this : hxxp:zap1206.xooit.net/pub/enhanced_qr-RC3.tar.gz [nonactive]

If anyone (especially the author) has a problem with me hosting the update, just PM me and I'll remove it.

Hii,
Great mod, But My smile list has 50+ smilies, And I don't want to move them to the popup, But they slow the pages even when the quick reply is collapsed, I just want to modify the code somehow so it loads the images (smilies and buttons) when the quick reply is expanded, Is that possible?

I am using the RC3 version. This mod will not work. As for the update mod for RC3 that someone just posted, its saved on a bad file name. It need to be in a .zip extension. I am using a Spikey theme and its not enlisted under the Reset Options, so I have completely no way of turning on/off the quick reply feature. I'm goin thru hell here....

My SMF version read this without any problem.
In fact, it failed to open the zip I created (I am running Linux).

If you have extracted the files, then compress them to zip and upload this new archive to SMF

I need a version for RC3 that works with 'Streaming' mod,

any help please?

well I installed it and the streaming mod but it isnt working. There is no buttons on the quick reply but they do show on post preview.

this latest version includes google video and youtube and these buttons are not on the quick reply, only on the post preview

Hey all.

I'm in the process of setting up a new SMF forum (1.1 RC3).

I've had members request smilies on the Quick Reply... and I've had members say they prefer the default, plain Quick Reply.

I altered Kirby's Enhanced Quick Reply Mod (http://mods.simplemachines.org/index.php?mod=63) to only add Smileys to the QR (instead of Smileys and BBCode), and installed it... it works well for providing the smileys to the QR.

What I'm wondering is if there's a way to have it be the members choice (set in their profile?) as to whether to include the smileys on the QR, or use the default, plain QR?

If that isn't workable... could there be a workaround using a Smiley Popup on the QR, which is separate from the regular Reply smilies? By that I mean... I can "clean up" the QR, yet still have the Smilies there, by setting all of my smilies to Pop-Up. However, that ALSO changes my regular Reply window to have all of the Smilies in a Pop-Up... which I don't want.

If I could somehow have the QR smilies be Pop-Up, but the regular Reply smilies remain in the form... that would work.

So... preference would be to have the QR smilies be on/off based on user setting.

An acceptable workaround would be to have QR smilies all be in a Pop-Up (but standard reply smilies are still displayed in the form).

I'm using 1.1 RC3, default theme. I am, however, using a custom smiley set (which is set for all users, they can't choose their own smiley set), if that makes a difference.
