a few questions

1) I uploaded "Large Update" pak on my forums folder then ran update.php to update from v1.1.2 to v1.1.4. it seems it works fine, but for sure how can I test it? what is the new feature of v1.2.4 that I can test if it is working fine?

2) also I noticed the members table structure of v1.1 is different with the one of v1.1.2. I need to know this current members table structure is as of exactly which version? as of 1.1.2? or is there a version between v1.1 and v1.1.2 such as v1.1.1 or so? if yes isn't this table structure as of that version?

3) when someone creates an account on my own software, my software will create a SMF account for him by inserting a new row in members table. I use sha1($password) to encrypt password to insert it in DB. but in first login attempt to SMF, it doesn't work, but on second login attempt I can login. what could be the issue? should I use salt or so? if yes how it should be?

there were no database changes between 1.1.2 an! 1.1.4. the username, put in all lower case, should be concatenated with the password and then hashed in sha1

AFAIK there were no database changes from 1.1.1 to 1.1.4

AFAIk there were no new features in 1.1.1 to 1.1.4. They were bug fix/patches releases.

its very similar to the one in 1.1, with some renamed column names due to the postgresql implementation which doesn't support camel case.

i can't give you the finalized layout as it may still change, but rest assured, you will need to rewrite your script for it :p
