It's been a while since I looked at this mod, looks like it's gotten far good job SimplePortal devs!

Alright, for anyone still wondering what was going on last night, I checked with my host and this seems to have been a breach of the server level, not account. So SMF wasn't compromised and all our data is safe. The DNS controls were manipulated, and at a higher level than I could see, since they all looked fine to me.

Regardless, the site is back and working now, as far as I can see. If anyone is still experiencing problems with it, please let me know directly by PM.

ah okay thanks!

urmm okay yea could be better - im not good at editing files, you use a FTP Client?
If you need help making custom edits to a file, then I suggest you post the file as an attachment in this thread. I'm sure someone would be more than willing to make the edits for you. I'm more than happy to do it myself. As nopity said, just install the mod even though the test fails, then upload the new ManagePermissions.php file. Be sure to back things up first.

ah okay! I installed it and heres the file :D

Just to let you know that I encountered a problem with the installation of SP 2.2.2 and SMF 1.1.9.

in file Subs.php the test failed because of a series of blank spaces instead of a TAB in a line of code.
after reading manual installation instructions, I verified the code and found the issue....

Maybe this hint will be useful for fixing the installation script, I don't really know how the package manager works..

anyway, great mod!

@DJBoddington

ok, here is your file, just a little misunderstanding with SMFShop mod  ;D

this is what I added:

'sp' => array(
'sp_moderate' => false,
'sp_add_article' => false,
'sp_auto_article_approval' => false,
),

greetings!

DJBoddington

Ah thank you very much :D

Cheers!

Is there/will there be, a block for SMF Quiz?
Maybe one to show top players/top favourite quizes.
Like the arcade block.

I still cant get on the site. I'm getting the Acai power slim thing.

What address are you using? And where are you from, a geographic location could help my host pinpoint the DNS issue.

I tried clicking the link you posted and it still came up with the acai stuff.
I live near denver, colorado.
A tracert of simpleportal.net takes me through all the various comcast points, eventually directing to the IPs listed in the attached file

Have you tried flushing your DNS cache? If you're running Windows, go to Start > Run and enter in

ipconfig /flushdns

* Eliana Tamerin sighs

In the process of transferring the domain to a more secure registrar, it seems the DNS settings got reset. I had to configure the nameservers again, and now it just needs to propagate.

I'm very sorry for all the inconveniences.

but i notice that it fixed him self

----------------------------------------------------------------
Hi,

I have a menu with a IFRAME showing up in my principal page. I want to use the standard html custom block code in SMF instead of the inline frames. I generated my html code with Fireworks CS3 and fixed the location of the pictures with Dreamweaver CS3 (it does it automatically). Then i uploaded the folder with all the images to my root server (www folder) in the same location as my index. But for some reason when i paste the code to smf it doesnt recognize the images. Maybe the mod for html custom code search the photos some where else. Any ideas?

Here is the page that the iframe display: http://todoilegal.net/TodoIlegalMenuIndex.html

The code that i want to put in the custom html block is the html source code of the previous mentioned page.
