Hi

Ive been using the Top Posters Block for ages and its been great, recently we changed it from "all-time" to "this months" and weve just noticed that its dropping every now and again? e,g, i had a page open from hours ago an i had 235 posts, my friend told me about it so i refreshed and right enough it went down to 218...?? i think the overall totals remain the same though so ive asked members to watch them to find out for sure...

can anyone help with this?

we have updated to SMF 2.0.5 but im sure my friend noticed it earlier today before I updated.

thanks

Good morning!

I am using SMF 2.0.5 with the latest downloaded version of SimplePortal. Recently I have been receiving a handful of errors in my error log from, I think one of my blocks. Can anyone help me figure out what it might be and how to clear it up?

when i installed simple portal my recent topics mode (ADK recent topics 1.0) has moved to the portal page. I don't want him to be there i want him to be on the forum page. Can someone help me ?

I have an issue that I am not sure how to resolve. In the block settings you are given the option to have it show "Topics" or "Posts" but in the block it is showing both and I don't want to. I only want it to show topics. I actually wanted two have 2 blocks - one that showed topics and one to show posts, but they both show the exact same things (which is both).

How do I fix that?

Topics show the topics that have last been posted in.

Posts show the actual last post.

If seeing them both showing the same, means that the last posts were new topics. They will be the same, until topics get replied to.

oh ok. I was under the impression Topics meant it would only show the new topics that were created not the reply posts as well. It kind of defeats my purpose of using it. Thanks for the quick reply :)

i don't know if this was already asked but i cant find any answer in the search results.

i s there a way for the content of each block to be auto resize? because if you browse a forum on a mobile the bottom block content is overlapping to the right block.

Thank you

I am using SMF 2.0.5 and I notice that when I switch themes the SimplePortal page is still using the SMF Default theme.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Site: http://pubstargaming.com

This was not an issue for me when using 1.1.18 so it seems to be more of a 2.0.5 support topic.

on the admin page under simpleportal >>>>configuration >>>>general settings there you can change theme under portal theme

Simple Portal is awesome! I can't believe how powerful and flexible it is.

I have to beg help for one question. I have a complex action

action=form;n=1;submit

and if I use a wildcard, this does not work
~action|form;n=1;submit

but this does:
~action|form

But it is the more complex action I need. I think what is happening is, the semicolons in "~action|form;n=1;submit" are being parsed, so that all pHp sees is ~action|form

Is that correct?

If so, is there a pHp function I could add that would keep the semicolons from being "read" until later, something like

"~action|form str( ; ) n=1 str( ; ) submit"

where str( ) is the name of such a function? If not this, is there something else?

I tried using the "number" for semicolons

"~action|form ; n=1 ; submit"

but sadly the Simple Portal editor turned them into semicolons.

THANKS!
