Build index for custom method Custom or Full Text

I tried to look at the Online Manual, but I didn't see it listed. I currently have it set to Build Custom.

smf_log_search_words is 28meg for a 50meg database for the following
38814 Posts in 4791 Topics by 323 Members

Does that seem right? I couldn't find an explination to what custom or Full Text was so I couldn't decided.

I did try to use the search and the Online Manual.
Version 1.1.14

I hope this isn't to basic of a question, but I've looked around and there isn't a printed answer unless Im well blind.

I would say the size is within expected bounds. (not unreasonable).

I figured it was I just couldn't find anything that said "use this for these results" and "use this for this results" so I didn't know what to use.

Full-text is probably recommended for most people.

But custom should work just fine.

Interesting enough in 1.1.4 when I switch to full text there isn't a build URL like build custom.
I noticed when I try it in 2.0 I can build a search for either and it tells you the database size, which is what got me interested in this subject.
