This is a confirmed bug with the mod; I believe there have been 4-5 reports of it in the last few pages of this thread.

Looking into this bug; will post an update if I can confirm it.

UPDATE: Bug confirmed. Looking for a fix.

;)

Edit: This bug *should* be fixed in the next 36-48 hours. I've made a lot of progress on it and have been able to cut out around 90% of the uninstall.php file's errors.

So there's still no solution yet?

UPDATE: This sucks, even on fresh install, on my test site. It cannot be uninstall either.

I tried uninstalling and installing - both reported no errors or pink screen - yet the same result.

I also tried a second forum with my database on version RC 2, 2 - same thing - no heart.

On my regular forum, I uninstalled reputation again, and enabled plain Karma. I see that does not appear in topic view either - no button nor does it give karma total.

This happens even in a fresh install of the software, using this same database - what in the database itself could be triggering it?

Instructions for uninstalling the previous version of Advanced Rep on 2.0 RC2
1) Download the attached file
2) Extract the files onto your computer
3) Create a sub-directory in the Packages directory of your website called "Advanced Reputation System Fix"
4) FTP the files you extracted earlier into the sub-directory you created
5) Go to Admin> Packages> Browse Packages
6) Click the "Upgrade" link by the Reputation system

If the "upgrade" is successful, you can simply delete all of the "Advanced Reputation System" listings in your Packages list.

First off, try logging into phpMyAdmin and making sure a table exists called (yourdbprefixhere)log_karma .

It does. Here is the print screen view:

Hmm... that looks to be as it should.

Do you have any errors in your error log?

Also, can I get the link to your forum?

Go to your website control panel (probably cPanel or Plesk), then go to the Packages directory. Within it, create a new directory called "Advanced Reputation System Fix."

Yes, I need to fix those instructions to remove that; I accidentally used the wrong format for compression earlier, which caused a problem with the package manager. An updated package should work through the PM.

Just making sure: it uninstalled everything, didn't it?

yep removed every thing and reverted back to the karma system

I tried to do a manual install after it failed the test only to find out the;

// Clear out the karma actions.
$smcFunc['db_query']('', '
DELETE FROM {db_prefix}log_karma');

isn't there and other operations is blank.

Update: never mind, skiped and installed. Seem to solved everything. Thank you.

No problem. The other tests likely failed due to another Mod or some custom work. But, I'm glad it worked.

Ok smooth installation. Thanks!

But please help. I have two questions:

1. Is it possible if I wanted only those who have reach 200 posts can give reputation?
2. How to disable View Reputation in Profile Info -> View Reputation for regular members? I wanted only Admin who can see them.

Thanks in advance
